REGISTRATION
Research Registration Guide
The field of academic publishing has been undergoing numerous changes in the past few decades. The replication crisis and publication bias are both serious issues that need to be addressed. As a response to these issues, the practice of registering research studies is growing in popularity among researchers. Therefore, all research at UOD should be registered, and we expect all researchers, research sponsors and others to meet this fundamental best practice standard.
The approved research proposal and Registration has benefits for you as a researcher. It guarantees clarity among collaborators in a research project.
All researches after receiving the research proposals approval must be registered with CARTA before processing begins.
After registration, the second step is the Ethics Application Process.
This policy requirement applies to all UOD students who do project or staff (including honorary staff, affiliate academics and visiting researchers).
The listing below provide information regarding all research registered using the new guidelines.
